Just got it today and I had a few of questions...

    1. Where do I put the "Powered By Asus" sticker?
    2. Is it a bad omen if I get a BSOD the first time I boot it up?
    3. Is it just me or does anyone else's touchpad mouse buttons get HOT?

1.) You have to put it below the screen LCD, at the center. U will see there's a rectangular box there. Stick it there.

2.) Ur not the only one with this problem. U will need some tinkering / tweaking to get it right.

3.) Usually the touchpad gets hot when using 7200 RPM HDD. BUt its a matter of preference. Mine gets warm too.... ( using 5400 HDD )

4.) Congrats on ur purchase. Immediately watch out for your temps, and RAM compatibility. These are the most common but serious problems for the c90. Gudluck !

Thnx, I had GentechPC install the hardware for me so I think I'm on the safe side. I'll watch the temp anyway just in case.

I just got my C90s from Kickace. Hopefully he fixed those problems before he sent it to me.

Congrats! Now you can remove the "less" from your nick ;) BSODs are mainly vista/driver related...I don't get them anymore....some patch somewhere has done 'something' but I can't pin it down. Go here and see if you can find anything that you need or might need:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/Browse.aspx?displaylang=en&categoryid=7 Sort them by release date and move on down the line.

Love the Japanese Postal code update, those are enough to make any one go nuts, let alone Vista which is already nuts. FYI, Japanese Postal codes are not in order and its a bloody nightmare to find anything with out some kind of a land mark, especially in Tokyo.

I had 3 blue screens within 2h from first fire up.

But then some vista update fixed it or atleast i think that is was that since i didnt do anything else.

I have had zero problems ever since.

w00t, thanks all for the welcome!

As for BSODs, I seem to get a BSOD every time that I've turned it on after it's been shutdown for a while. I'll give that Microsoft update a look to see if it fixes the problem. Haven't really had much time to play around with the C90S though due to end of the semester finals studying and projects.
