Hey guys whats up, I gota say so far I'm super disappointed with how the newer drivers have been running on my c90s. Though I have yet to try the 169.XX. I have been away and left my c90s chilling for a while. So I'm asking, has anyone found the best video card driver solution for the c90s? also what about the ram incompatibility? Is that ever going to be addressed or are some of us s.o.l?

You can't even begin to imagine how upset I am over the ram incompatibility issue. It pisses me off that I can't even move my laptop from the dining room to the living room without having to turn it completely off first. I really hope they fix this issue soon, or else I'll sell this laptop and get one that I can trust.

Anyway, I'd also like to know the answer to this. Thanks!

Ridley, I had that problem and replacing my intel 4965agn card cured it.

best drivers for the 256mb GDDR3 card to my knowledge are still the stock ones on the included disk or on the Asus site.

The 512mb DDR2 card works well with any drivers and so most of us are in the 169.01+ area. Has native overclocking unlocked, scaling options unlocked, powermiser is working, and alot of game bug/performance fixes.

I gave up the faster GDDR3 card just for this reason. As for ram incompatibility.... I dont know, I heard its hardware related so a bios fix can only do so much, if you got your ram from the retialer you got the c90 from they are required to get it fixed, if you got it on your own like I did, it becomes your problem :/ I went thru 3 sets of ram before I finaly settled with just a 2x1gb setup for awhile. However I noticed I never used battery mode but once in a blue moon and I needed the extra ram for a game called hellgate london, so I tossed my 3gb back in and have just been using the electrical umbilical cord since with no major issues (only annoyance really is I have to plug it in then boot, I used to boot then plug it in while it was booting to multitask)
