    Need help on update the BIOS for G71gx

    Hi guys,

    I am going to have my new G71gx in 2 days. I have been reading a lot of posts which says that the BIOS need to be updated to solve the GPU issue.

    Here are my questions:

    1, which version of bios should I upgrade to? 1201 or 1701(latest one)
    2, How can I update my BIOS without using the asus live update? Since I have never done the BIOS update before, I may need some details on it.

    Please help me if any of you already did. I really do not want mess up with this new laptop.
