My laptop when trying to boot up gets a bsod error seen here.

I didn't make any hardware changes since the last time it was on.
When I turn on my laptop it asks me to boot windows normally, which leads to this error and to have windows try and fix the problem. When I have windows fix the problem I get to a black screen out of resolution with just a arrow head, being able to move around.

Here is somethings that might help describe the situation better.
I can boot out of express gate just fine.
I have tried a battery pull.
    Windows 7 is installed.
I have tried letting windows fix it multiple times.

    EDIT 1:
Took out and put back in the RAM, still the same problem.
Tried Using the windows 7 disc to fix it, did the same thing as before.

    Thanks for any help.

It means that windows cannot boot due to not having the booting files. RMA the laptop, or change the HDD and re install windows.

So the hard drive is toast?

Side note, I was able to boot in Safe mode but all I get is the wording of safe mode in all the corners and a mouse.

First just try formatting the disk and reinstalling windows. Then you'll have to cough up the $40 for a new hard disk. Sending it to ASUS is probably not worth the headache and the other problems they may cause.

Well I can't boot from disc right now, it goes straight to repair windows with the disc.

No, the HDD is fine. The problem is in the OS. The OS boot files were corrupted ( by a virus? ), so the PC can't boot. This happened to me once, I sended it to ASUS.

If you put in the recovery/windows 7 cd and you select boot from CD-rom, it will give you the option to format.
