So, I got my laptop only a few weeks ago and the flap that covers up the ethernet port on the left side has loosened to the point that it's always open. This is the only problem I've had with this computer and was wondering if anyone has had this problem and was able to fix it. I already tried disassembling the laptop and seeing if there was a spring or something that kept it closed but didn't find anything.

We haven't received any negative feedback on it. It's not entirely necessary, though since we haven't seen a precedent, I don't know of any fix for it.

It's just kind of annoying. I feel like there should be a spring to keep it closed when you're not using it. Maybe there is one and it broke or fell out of place?

Mine isn't loosened to the point where its always open but it also doesn't close when you unplug Ethernet cable like it used to do.

It's kind of annoying. I put a piece of tissue in the bottom to keep it closed.
