My charger cable for ASUS K53SM got short circuited. So now the problem is that when i plugged it in, i heard silent "click" and it stoped charging. Laptop works still fine on a batery, but even when i tried whit my sisters original asus charger(she has same laptop), still i cannot charge my laptop. So i wonder if there is any "fuse" or someting that could get burned inside laptop, or can this be an "expensive" repair?

    thanks

Sounds like the power connector in the notebook broke. It's not that unusual and they are relatively easy to replace if one is skilled soldering things.
If you are in Europe and want to solder it yourself or know someone that can solder:

Otherwise ebay often can be a source for both the connector and repair services.

That or local shops do that sort of thing often. If it's in warranty you may want to check in with your reseller first.
