    I have big problem :D
    I can't run BF2 :( I can't launch even main :( it's changing resolution, and back to windows... why?

    Also there was always the needed manual screen resolution in the config file. That was often the cause of CTD's on start. Might have been fixed with a patch, but its chance.


    Just change to screen resolution to your current screen res and save.

    Where can I find drivers? In V1S I have mobile version -> GeForce 8600 M GT 512MB.

    I second Sgt. Hollywood's suggestion. A number of people have solved the problem by adjusting the screen resolution setting.

    you have to go to your documents, battlefield 2, open video.con or a similar name, where it says RESOLUTION force it to your refresh rate... then close and save it, restart the game, should work

    I tried that on both V1S and VX2S, it didn't work. :(

    Boiler plate response most likely, wouldn't it be surprised if it was automatically generated based on picking up 59Hz in your email as they completely ignored "My monitor only runs at 59hz refresh rate".

    http://laptopvideo2go.com for 8600M GT drivers. Actually, they are the standard NVidia drivers but there are modded INFs you can download from that site so it recognises mobile GPUs.
