    Hi.

How do I reassign those 4 keys on the left? The Audio DJ keys I believe.

I would like to use other programs, not Windows Media Player, to play back media files.

    Thanks, Chuck

    It also looks for
    HKLMSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionApp PathsPowerDVD

so if you have PowerDVD (aka AsusDVD) installed, this is how it finds that program.

There's no official way to reassign these keys.

The Asus HCONTROL.EXE program handles all the actions for the special keys. For the media player, it looks at the registry key

    HKLMSOFTWAREMicrosoftMultimediaWMPlayer

to find what program to launch. Whatever program you set in the Player.Name and Player.Path attributes of this key is what you'll get from the Audio DJ button.

    thanks for answering so quickly.

well I changed player.name and player.path in HKLMSOFTWAREMicrosoftMultimediaWMPlayer to the winamp details.

I can use the play key to start winamp, but the pause stop play ff and rew functions of those keys don't work. Same holds true with media player classic.
    Any ideas for that?
    Cheers, Sascha

BTW: if any of you with a M6N experience windows freezing and total lack of response from your notebook: get the heatsink and fan checked. That's what I had... took me 5 months to figure out..
