    Hi all!

As you may have guessed I bought the M6Bne after reading ur reviews :). The machine is simply beautifull!

I was wondering if there is a key that when pressed during bootup, gives a boot selection screen. I know IBM laptops have that feature. This would be better than always going into the bios and change boot priority.

    Tx!

    Try F2,
this should get you into the bios.

F8 should give you safe mode boot etc

F9 should give you the restore boot screen.

Good luck hope the machine goes well for ya

But he wants to AVOID going into the BIOS and rather, just changing the boot sequence alone.

I think this is possible on the M5N... but I've never seen anyone do it on the M6Ne.
    Maybe Justin will know...

As far as I know there ain't any feature like this. The bios on the M6 is very basic and pretty much all you can do is change the boot sequence, so in effect it serve a similar purpose.

I think i pressed esc or maybe del to bring up a little window during boot that gave me a list to choose from. This worked well b/c i just wanted to boot from a usb stick with linux on it a few times and i never had to go into the bios and change anything. I know the key is listed on screen during the first few secs of boot, or just refer to the MANUAL! [ :D]

Press Esc key as the machine is booting up (during ASUS Logo screen), it will bring up boot selection menu.
