Hi, i did a lot of research, and while i always find the M50VN XP Drivers list and links, that lap isn't like mines. they don't even look alike that much.

    my M50VN has a Penryn 2.53Ghz, not a P8600 2.4ghz
i fear that the hardware are very different too :(
    if anyone has a link

It may simply be that your laptop is a variant with a different CPU. If the model number is the same, there is a good chance of common hardware (e.g., mainboard including things like sound, LAN; WiFi; etc.) so why not give those drivers a shot?

Closest thing I can find on these forums is: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=273404#winxp

like i said they don't look alike. my touchpad doesn't look as retarded xD.
For the wifi card, i know that this one has an intel, while the other one has an Atheros.
Also from Dual Core to Core2Duo Penryn is a bit more than a variant, i'd like to think lol

Well in that case you could maybe use my generic XP driver-finding tips in the Info BoothFAQ.
