So I've had this laptop since August, now all of a sudden the finger print reader stopped working. Is there something I could have hit to make it stop registering? Also, the webcam will not turn off for reasons I don't know. I just have the blue light shining in my eyes all the time. (thankfully I can turn it) Both problems started around the same time (earlier today) so could possibly be connected. Thanks for the help.

The standard advice would be to remove and reinstall the drivers of the affected devices. If that doesn't solve the problem, post back with details.
