    M50 Keyboard Lag Solution Testing Thread

    I will be keeping this thread updated as I try different fixes. Please feel free to propose fixes. This topic is in relation to this thread. Although many of the solutions have been listed as "the" fix for keyboard lag, many users have tried all the mentioned fixes and still get keyboard lag (missing keystrokes). I will try combinations of fixes more than once, as it seems the problem is on-and-off. If you wish to post your own tests, make sure to list the fixes you tried, and the resulting 8 test sentences.

    Testing with 'this is a test sentence' is just way too short. Try typing 3 paragraphs and you should see a lag popping from time to time. I think this happens for users who type 50wpm above.

    To my testing, the conflict resides with the synaptics driver.
    The synaptics driver does something to the PS/2 port and conflicts with they keyboard. My compromise fix to get a responsive keyboard and at the same time retain BASIC touchpad functionality.
