My webcam on my G1S always gives me problems and when its working the video is very bad quality, it is usually somewhat white/fuzzy. Is the webcam (Chicony USB2.0 UVC 1.3M Webcam) just a bad webcam or is it drivers or what? Tried to find new drivers but I was unsuccessful. Any insight is appreciated.

There are 3 different webcams for the g1s maybe you got the wrong drivers. Just go to asus.com and search g1s and go to drivers. The webcam works just as well as a 1.3mp logitech cam.

You should also check the white balance/exposure settings as well as the FPS settings. Issues with either of these could both explain the symptoms you describe.
