I have a nearly new U20A notebook. Recently, my internet connection is dropping from time to time due to loosen connection between the ethernet jack and the cable connector. I replaced the cable, and it clicks when inserted to the jack but unless I keep the cable upward near the connector, I loose the connection. Is anyone encounter such a problem and found a reasonable fix to this (except for making external constructions for holding the cable upward)?

Your best bet is to RMA your notebook and have Asus replace the ethernet jack/motherboard. This shouldn't be happening on a new laptop.
