    Hi,

A friend of mine is looking for a budget laptop and settled on an A6F.

Do you have any information/feedback on this laptop? Are there any using it out there? I can't find a decent review on this model.

    Thanks.

    Noone?

    Oh well, I ordered it.

At 850 EUR (about the same sum in USD in NA I would guess) it's a very good deal with colorshine wxga, core duo t2050 (1.6GHz FSB 533 but still, a core duo), 1.3MP webcam and infrared, and 2year global warranty + carrying case and optical mouse.

    actually t2050 = 1.73 GHz

I just got this laptop. I like it. It's a very good deal for its price in my opinion.

The performance is just as it should be, 80% the speed of my V6J. It has all the connectivity a nowadays notebook needs: GB ethernet, wireless, bluetooth, TVout, card reader, 4xUSB. More than 4hours battery life (the idle consumption is around 12-14 W, very small, probably due to integrated graphics). The screen is almost as good as the M6BNe, which is saying something. For instance, lateral view angles are virtually 90degrees. It has a 1.3MP camera - nice gadget. Plus, it comes with bag&mouse&the ensemble 2 year global warranty.
