    I have been researching netbooks a bit; looking for something for the gf to tote around to classes. It seems the Eee 1000 has everyone beat in battery life- or am I missing something?

    With coupon + cashback on fleabay, the total would be ~$280.

    What say you NBR? Buy the Eee 1000HA or something else?

    The Samsung NC10 has better battery life but some other minor differences of the EEE. I would look at it before you decide.
