    Hello,

Got my new F8SA today and I've been avidly getting rid of all the bloatware.

I've gotten ridden of all the obvious bloatware, but I'm just wondering if there's a list of bloatware that comes of Asus notebooks that is absolutely not needed.

    Thanks.

EDIT: Also what's a good way to get all of these stickers off the casing without comprimising it.

Check my vista optimization guide (signature) for bloatware.

As to the stickers: remove everything except the small CPU / Windows stickers: those are tough to remove and might leave traces.

Just peel them starting with one corner, that should be ok.

    Hey thanks alot!

I've gotten rid of most of the obvious stuff and disabled all the unwanted startup stuff. I could've just done a format and gone without the bloatware, but didn't think of that at the time and now I don't want to go through and put all of my stuff back on again.

If you've done the cleanup right, it will run almost as well as a clean install. So I agree, don't bother with reinstalling at this point.
