I noticed today that the System76 'Darter' system with preloaded Ubuntu is a Z35:

Which I think is pretty darn cool. I have tried the last few releases of Ubuntu on my Z33; I still need to try the latest 7.04, but 6.06 was excellent - everything 'just worked' out of the box, including the ACPI hotkeys and wireless. I was able to get the Beryl accelerated compositing window manager running with just a few commands, as well. *thumbs nose at MS and Intel for no Aero on the GMA900*

That's awesome! I've got an old Dell lappy running Feisty at the moment. Wireless has been vastly improved over the years... but still isn't perfect on this particular model.

The past several releases have worked on my V6j, I am happy, I just wish I could do everything in Linux.

Feisty appears to work out-of-box as well. Wireless doesn't come back on resume from suspend/hibernate, and I'd like to get undervolting working, but other then that it's great.

Hmm, I guess its cool that they come with Linux pre-installed, but look at that price! Its at least $200 more than what geared2play/btotech charges for it without an OS (or with Linux, since Linux is free).
