    Anyone know if windows give you info such as manufacturer and model of your screen or is there a program out there that will give me this info? thanks in advance! :)

    Windows won't, but there are some programs that can pull some information - most likely codes which you'd than need to go and look up........ some systems have certain brands they use..... some have 2-3 brands at the same spec........ and they vary between sizes and types.

    Which would you be referring to?

    Sometimes it will... I've had Asus models it won't read ever and I've had two of the same model and one would read and one wouldn't...... whether they were both the same screen or not isn't something I went into, but typically models from the same build and even the same production run are all the same brand and model screen...... sometimes at different points in the year a run might be done with another screen of the same spec due to production constraints, but they rarely change........ so I'd say everest is something to try, but I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't give them the information desired.
