    K93SV with 3.5" HDD support!

    I just came across this 18.4" beast of a laptop. If you look for it on Google, you'll see blogs mentioning that it can support a 3.5" desktop hard drive in addition to a 2.5" hard drive as well.

    Looks to be confirmed on Asus' website when looking at the specifications as well.

    Seems very interesting, though of course the caveat must be the size and weight. I'm hearing at its thickest point, its around 2.2in!

    Too bad the other specs seem modest, such as the GPU and all.

    That's really useless! Now that we have SSDs, there is no point to get back to the 3.5" drives...

    I have to agree with ramgen. Given the fact that there's 1TB 2.5" drive available on the market, putting in a 3.5" drive slot seems pretty stupid. Not to mention the significant weight difference between a 3.5" drive and a 2.5" drive.
