I'd like to connect the ASUS G2S-A1 to my receiver (Harmon Kardon AVR147) in my home threatre for sound output. Can I do it? I noticed unfortunately the laptop does not contain any optical digital ports

I noticed in the sound mixer a Realtek Digital output option

There is an optical SPDIF output, the line-out socket also serves as the optical output. You need a converter from it to the standard SPDIF socket. You can probably google for it.

Edit: Nevermind, you are correct. Asus notebooks use a 3.5mm mini-TosLink optical connection.
