Okay when I got the Windows Experience Index scores heres what I got:

    Processor: 4.4
    RAM: 4.6
    Graphics: 5.9
    Gaming graphics: 5.5
    Primary Hard Disk: 5.5

I have 3 gb of Ram, and 160 gb 7200 hard drive, what do these scores mean and what can I do to improve them?

The processor rating is a little low, but everything else looks good.

Just a note, these are synthetic scores and don't mean much. You need to play the games you like to see how your laptop runs them.

Quick question, where did you order your machine from and how long did it take you to receive your laptop with those configurations?

Either try to be quicker hitting the needed button, or go into the bios and temporarily switch the boot order to look for the CD/DVD first.

As for Windows Experience Index scores there's nothing you can do to improve that short of actually upgrading the hardware. And like voodoofreak said, these scores are really kinda vague and don't mean much like a benchmarking program would. For example, overclocking your video card is NOT going to improve your WEI score but it would improve a graphics benchmark (ie: 3DMark).

Actually, those processor scores are low for the G1S.

Check out the thread above to correct it.
