    I'm switching (hopefully) from my entirely horrid HP experience...

    I'm looking for:

    2.0ghz or 2.13ghz core duo
    X1600 with 256mb or go7600 with 256mb
    15.4" screen (would love 1680x1050, but can live with 1440x900 or 1280x800)
    I have 2gigs of 533 ddr2, so will be fine with that.
    I would like a 7200 rpm hd, 60 or 80gb or 100 would be fine
    Is there a possibility of a slot-loaded dvd burner? If not, DL Dvd burner would be good.
    Bluetooth. I haven't done anything with dongles, I'd like it internal

    I've seen the s96J, which looks to be a great choice, and if there's not anything with the above, I'll likely go with that. And build it myself.

    Configure as you like it to be. Your end result should be soemthing clsoe to 15-1600$

    Expect it to come in about 2 weeks.

    but if slot loading is a must for you which I don't think it is, look to the w2 series, although it'll be more expensive and bigger screen which I dont think its something you want but thought I mention it.

    So what would your take be on which would be better?

    Acer 5672 or Asus Z96J

    And does milestone pc charge cards on pre-orders?
