Has anyone tried or know if it is possible to integrate SP2 into the Asus Recovery Partition? Basically I just want to save some time after recovery. The model I have is the V6VA. Also what software does Asus use for the recovery partition? Its very efficient taking only around 5 min to recovery the entire OS. Wonder why other manufacturers ie. Lenovo (painfully long recovery) arent using this method.

    I think they use PQImage.

You can use a partition imaging software such as Norton Ghost, Acronis, PartImage (this one has problems with NTFS) to make a backup of the installed system.
