Love the W3J but hate the buttons -every time I pick it up one or another button gets accidently hit. How do I disable them -never use 'em!

    Thanks,

    John

I think uninstalling the ATK0100 Driver should work.

Or just stopping the ATK utility with msconfig.

I'm saying this because the driver might also do some other useful things than handling the hotkeys.

Don't disable the ATK utility [it does many useful things].
AFAIK there is a particular application handling these keys.So killing that process should do the trick.

Disabling HControl.exe disables all functions. Just tried it.

Also, nobody else ever has this problem with the buttons?

    Thanks All!

    Click START, select RUN

Now, in the RUN dialog box, type: "MSCONFIG" without the quotes.

    Press OK.

A program named: SYSTEM CONFIGURATION should appear.

It should be on the GENERAL tab.

    Now select the STARTUP tab.

Find the startup item named HControl.

Uncheck the button next to it.

    Click OK, then RESTART system.

This should remove it from starting up when Windows loads.

I get it all the time when I pickup my W3J. Its annoying, but I find it very useful!
