    I followed the "optimize vista" steps in the main asus thread, doing most of the steps. I am fairly certain these problems started immediately after that.

    My hotkeys- for example the brightness and volume fn+f# keys now have a 4-12 second delay, changing each time. For example, I'll press fn+f10 to mute. 8 seconds later, the little thing will show up and the computer will mute. I'll press it again to unmute, 4 seconds later it will.

    Besides that the computer has been running great. I just need to get this fixed... I wouldn't want to be in class, unknowningly have my volume up and have some sound go off, then have to wait 4-12 seconds to shut it up.

    Try reinstalling ATKOSD2 and ATK Hotkey from your drivers disk and see if that helps your lag issue.
