So I decided to upgrade an old notebook to Win7.
It runs splendidly, just no drivers because the CD that came with it only supports XP......
Keeps telling me that its an unrecognized OS, its like a back to the future event, lol.

According to Everest the laptop has a F3M aka F3000M motherboard in it.

    What I know/tried:

Nvidia drivers were customized with Asus and are only available from the Asus site.

After Ive tried the ASUS site, it drove me nuts.. the motherboard was nowhere to be seen!¿
Ive tried searching on Socket type, since it has an AMD 3400+ Sempron
I figured its the Socket 754, no luck with that either.

So Im kinda stuck, I remember there was some kind of handy app that searches for drivers and downloads 'm for you, but forgot the name.

Could anyone point me in the right direction? Thank you.

f3j, f3k, any laptop with an f3 will have suitable drivers on asus.com, only video cards may be different.
