With everyone running out of these, I figured I would get a head start and order this before ordering my laptop from Justin.(sad huh??) I know I want either the z71v or the v6 but I'm not sure what type of hardrive these laptops use. I'm not knowledgeable in laptops at all so ANY input will do.
I found this one ($169) and needed your opinion before purchasing : Hitachi 60GB 9.5mm 7200RPM Hard Drive

    Is this correct?[)]

If it's the Hitachi TravelStar 7K60, 60GB 7200 RPM, that's the one. Good luck!

If possible check it comes with the default 3 yrs. warranty .

Some retailers may cut corners and sell ones with 1 year , it doesn't mean they are less good but it doesn't hurt to have some extra cover .

You can check warranties by entering the SN at hgst.com , down side you can do it only when you get the drive and that the warranty start ticking from production date NOT sale date .
