    Hi, thanks in advance for the replies..

    I have an ASUS Notebook, core2duo, and i have problems with Vegas Pro 8 and Premier CS4.. they dont star, they freeze at the begining (Vegas blocks at "initializing external monitoring") The thing is that i allready had this softwares running before, but i had to reformat the PC because some virus and me not been a very skillfull person with the PC`s.
    Now i have Vista SP2.
    Something else its that on task manager you cannot terminate the process, you hit tha button, but nothing, the software remains blocked..

    help.. :(
