I ordered the G50 outside of an account, and now I can't track it. How do I find the order and put it within my account?

It's best to call them regarding your order.

It's beyond office hours, they are closed tomorrow and Sunday, and the problem cropped up about 3 hours ago.

Let me try to be a little clearer. I ordered a G50 A1. I ordered it without an account, thinking I could just call it up using the order number. However, after I order it I realize that you need an account to track orders. After making said account, it shows no orders within recent history. What can I do to track the order and add it to my order status for my account?

Gentech should send you an e-mail with the UPS tracking number once your notebook is shipped. If you haven't received any e-mails from them, most likely, they have not shipped your unit yet. Afaik, the G50V-A1 is currently out of stock, but the next shipment should arrive soon. You can try PM Ken to see if he can help you link your order to the account you just made, but it would most likely be Monday before he can actually do anything.

For security purpose if you create account after you order from our website then you can not track your order, it's to prevent someone use your email address to change your order detail, however, we did receive your order and you will still receive notifications of your order status by email.

Nothing to worry, it only means no one can use your name/email to create account to view your order detail.

We call to confirm every orders.

Thank you, but my mom is going crazy thinking that you're not a legitimate company. She still wants to track the order, even though she's just supposed to be on the lookout for an email. She thought this due to not easily finding the 1-800 number and seeing that the initial site led to another site.

How do I convince her otherwise?

Their legit. I ordered my C90s from them, although I know what you mean about your mom going crazy, since my dad does that as well.

Tell your mom I ordered mine from Gentech as well and Ken was excellent to work with. Don't worry, you're in good hands!

There is no less than excellent feedback for Ken and GenTechPC on this forum. At this point, I don't remember any complaints, which either means there weren't any or they were long ago. :)

Agree. Just point your Mom to this thread and let her read it; hopefully that will alleviate her anxiety.

Ken and GenTech have an excellent reputation around here - always have. I've never seen a poor experience or bad comment here about them since he arrived... EBE and I have both been here since before then.
