Hey guys, I should be getting the G71 tomorrow and while I'm at Best Buy I was thinking of picking up a game to push the limits of the G71. Mainly to make sure that the G71 will game properly and so I can witness it for myself. As far as I've read, people have been testing games such as Crysis, Fallout 3, and Prototype. But other than the former two, I'm not really that interested in FPS games. And Prototype I already played. Can you guys suggest any other games that can push the graphic limits of the G71? I was thinking of Spore or Sims3 but I doubt those games would really show how good of a gaming computer the G71 is even on their highest settings. Or am I wrong? Anyway, suggestions please?

(Sorry for separate thread, would have posted this on the main G71 thread but I think it would be better to have a dedicated thread, besides I think people want to mainly do testing on that thread.)

You already tried Crysis... but what about trying Crysis Warhead? :p

    GRID should stress it abit.

Brunoroc - Yeah I gotta think about that one. Not really into the theme of GTA4, but I've seen it played before and it's not bad.

A3rox - Supreme Commander looks interesting. I'll check it out. I'm liking what I'm seeing in the screenshots though. Company of Heroes looks good but not my cup of tea. And yes, I tried Google, but basically I've just been running around circles with the same games.

Dancom96 - GRID does look pretty graphics heavy, but I don't know about racing games.

Any suggestions for a more fantasy-oriented game(s)? Sorry I should have specified. Demigod I thought looked good until I read about it.

I think theres a new WOW expansion with better graphics? Never played WOW so I'm not sure, dont know much about it.

Also, I think Starcraft 2 will have pretty good graphics, maybe?... but the good graphic games are usually going to be a FPS.

Yeah I was afraid of that. I was just hoping that there was some really demanding fantasy game out there that I just never heard of.

GRID doesn't look very good IMO, but does stress graphics abit. The screenshots and actual gameplay are like completely different. Screenshots being clear and realistic, while gameplay being blurry, too much HDR, and having a yellow tint to it.

Running maxed out with 4xAA I get 30-50fps so yeah it does stress it abit.

Mass Effect is a great RPG game, probably the best I've played.. Better than KOTOR and I'm a Star Wars fan boy..

you can also try KOTOR I for some reason can't get it to run, but it could be a bad instillation.

    Fable perhaps?

Crysis and PRototype are the best for GPU

for CPU try the latest flight simulator or Supreme commander.

    Supreme commander will stress both.
