Will an Intel® Core™ i3 Mobile Processor I3-330M 2.13Ghz SLBMDwork in this computer?

I ordered an i3 because I put the i7 in my bare-bone laptop and am going to use the asus as a backup laptop.

When I turn on the computer a little blue bulb shows up on the bottom indicators.

    Any advice?

Microcode for the i3 probably isn't in the BIOS, since it's not an option in either G60 or G51 series, so unless there is an updated BIOS with i3 support, you're out of luck. Someone will probably come along and say you can inject the microcode into the BIOS, but it's a UEFI image, and it's not easy to work with -- much easier said than done.

Will the i5 work with this computer? Any of the i5 series?

An i5 will probably not work either, for the same reason.
