    does this laptop get 120hz refresh when the 3d app is turned off? for instance if I was playing counter-strike on a low resolution would I be able to get 100+hz without the 3d on?

    I have the 3d version.
    As far as I remember it stays at 120Hz the whole time.

    I think laptop screens have fixed refresh rates.
