    G50VT-X6 for $1090????

    Not sure if this is a typo but on newegg Canada I bought this a couple weeks ago for $1624 CAD but now it is listed $1376.99 CAD = $1090 USD. Is this right or a typo??? I am pretty bummed out that it is $250 cheaper right now. Even other G50VT models did not price drop except this one.

    I checked newegg USA but their price did not change either

    You will have to get use to this, like i have. Digital = worthless... Especially computers and dslr (im affected both by this, except my laptop is still worth 1699.99 on newegg Canada. My DSLR value lost $300 from $1200 a month after i bought it...).

    Heh, You have to study the Market trends this probably also has to do with the fact that new processors on are on the way tons of things are gonna start falling now. Newegg will match the price I THINK if you tell them about what happened.

    wow this is a really big price drop. I have to think there's some mistake because I notice that the American listing is still at US$1299.

    If we alert the US version of the site, will they match the Canada price (taking into account currency exchange rates)? The problem is I don't buy from newegg because I live in CA, and sales tax adds another 8% to the price, this is why I buy from amazon instead... Maybe I can ask xoticpc to match the Canadian price...

    That means the US version will have to be under $1,000 with the exchange.

    the price just changed today. i've been staring at the asus laptops on a newegg ca for the past two weeks. it's most likely due to the new month and its one of their monthly specials or something. luckily i live in BC so i can snatch it up at that price. the shipping is expensive living in victoria though...living on an island has its pros and cons i guess. its 164 for handling and 20 for shipping (all CAD). so much for shipping!!! how much is it for shipping to Cali? i used to live in san jose... i miss the city sometimes, but not often.
