    G2S-A1 - Battlefield 2142 wont load

    Whenever I try to load the game battlefield 2142, its loads to a blackscreen, then it will lock up and eventually vista will close it. I don't even make it to the intro vids. I've checked other forums and they say that it works perfectly on vista. So I was wonderin if the problem is in some hardware/drivers.

    As topic says, im runnin the Asus G2S-A1, with the drivers from the included driver disc.

    I'm having the same problem, and it persists even after changing to the 59Hz "my laptop is set to invideo.con"

    ... I've run the 1.4 upgrade, and am running as an admin... I'm stumped

    Any other ideas?

    I think Ken is saying you have to change it to 62Hz, not to 59Hz.
