Trying to install Fedora Core 7, and it can't find my hard drive. I know I needed a driver for XP, but what do I do for this? GParted and BackTrack both had no problem. Really need an answer - Quick!

can you try installing without the GUI, there should be a option for text or command line install only.

Well, i found out that FC7 just dosent like a lot of newer CD drives. I eventually had to install via HTTP, which took for ever, but it didn't like the G2S's Ethernet, once it was installed.

    O_O

So I installed Ubuntu. Same thing, with the CD, but I found a Ubuntu workaround, which was adding "piix" to /etc/modules, and it worked.
