This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    G1s-OLED display bogus?

    Is it just me or is that little OLED display a bit bogus. Besides the time, I swear it doesn't always display my email or anything else for that matter. And the time? I wish they animated the clock. At least it looks like what time it should be.

    I turn mine off on my G2S. It's a distraction for me, not to mention it retains images like old CRTs.
