Ok, thanks. I updated that. Should I update the bios driver? or any audio driver?
    Thanks

Have you gone through the drivers page on the Asus website? Update anything that's got a newer version than your installed version.

Device manager. Properties on each device.

I will actually suggest being a bit more moderate and only updating important drivers. Like if you keep bluetooth off 99% of the time, you won't care you have an older driver. Or you perhaps use the SD card reader once a month.

In this way you will keep a balance between updated drivers and junk accumulating in the Windows system folders and registry.

Thanks E.B.E. I've decided to update the audio, camera, and BIOS drivers. Do you think that is a good choice?
By the way, I was looking at your thread on updating the BIOS. Do you know if the G1S-A1 has EasyFlash?
    Thanks a lot! :)

I don't know if it has it, but I also gave an easy way to check (just enter BIOS and look for the option basically)

I suggest the following drivers for update:
    - Chipset if it exists
    - GPU
    - Audio
    - WLAN
    - BT if you use it regularly
    - camera if you use it regularly

BIOS is not a driver. For when to update, look at my guide.

You should've checked my reasons for not installing updates indiscriminately before posting...

I´ve installed Xp on my G1S-A1, not without a few problems I must say, but I seem to have gotten it to work kinda smoothly as of now. I used the drivers who someone posted a pack of in vip.asusforums.com (or whatever the URL was). I know those drivers were enthusiast drivers, and not released by ASUS themselves, but this was a few months ago so I´d like to update a few of them. Anyone know where to find new versions?
