I am wondering whether someone found a way to fix the "brightness bug" on battery mode.
For those who don't know what I'm talking about, it's just that when the G1S is on battery mode, the screen will always get very bright (full brightness) after a few minutes.

It is very annoying because then I run out of battery faster...

Some help would be very much appreciated :)

Wasn't this related to some software bug? I think in Power4Gear.

Have you tried updating or otherwise removing Power4Gear?

I got rid of P4Gear. I also think, its because of a bug in the new Nvidia drivers. I think its a setting called Smart Power Dimmer or something like that. You need to either change the settings there, or turn it off. Once that's done, it should be fine. I don't have this problem for the most part anymore.
