Hello all, Ive cracked my screen on my GS1 and it is out of warranty so no luck on getting it fixed for free  . I found the part number for the screen as n154z1-l02 rev2 . I searched on eBay and found one that says compatiable but includes no part number. Does anyone here have any knowledge regarding to LCDs that are a suitable replacement in the range of 100-150? I am on a tight budget and this was a graduation/off to college gift. Great forum too, many posts that one can just read and read. keep up the good stuff

Parts on ebay are usually cheaper than what you would pay if you had to find an online dealer, and since lcds are one of the most expensive parts of notebooks and the g1s have a high resolution one at that, I doubt that will find something in those range....

Heres two pics I just took.
I saw a listing on eBay which said just match the resolution and it will work according to the ad. I know it does depend upon the inverter cable from what i've researced so far. My inverter cable is labeled:
    Asus A6V
    08g26av8010n
    LVDS Cable 15.4/SXGA
    High-TEK(A8) 07/01/19

LCD model is from Chi Mei
    n154z1-l02 Rev.C1

Thanks for the replies and help!

I believe the g1s screen is the same as the c90s screens.
    Check this out.
You may want to confirm this with the seller or with Ken at Gentechpc

Yea I searched earlier when it happened and found those two exact listings. I mailed the seller for his screens part number but he would not tell. His is the listing that says "Compatible LCD Screen ". It is a start though. I havent search for C90s, maybe can pick up a used one low.
