This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     They got the res of the screen wrong, but other than that, I like the many pics they took.

    I just finished it and it is a very thorough review, but yes I also noticed they got the screen res wrong.

    Intresting that the reviewed machine is a wxga+ (1440x900) rather than a wsxga+. I didn't know Asus offered this.

    I'm not sure they got it wrong. There are wxga+ screens available in this size. Asus may offer it in other countries.

    Yup, the WXGA+ screen is available for the Asus G1s but i think its in selected countries only...

    In germany, i havent saw any g1s with wsxga+.. so they are not wrong, i like their review coz of the detail pictures they give.

    My bad, I knew that in other countries some of the hardware components were different, I just didn't know the screens were sometimes different as well. I still love the pics!

    Europe routinely gets a lower res than NA does. No idea why.

    Actually majority of those pics are the Asus G1 pictures which was used for the Asus G1 review on the same site.. :)

    Their reviews always read like it was written in a foreign language and then translated by a computer program.

    Those computer translators are the only reason I got through Spanish writing assignments in high school.
