Hey all, the power cord for my brand new G1 S recently fell upon some hard times, and I need to replace it as soon as possible. At first I thought maybe power adapters had some universal system, so I could find a new one easily...

I quickly found out that this is not the case, and after searching frantically online for a new adapter that I could be sure would work with my G1S-A1, I came here hoping someone could give me a hand.

So does anyone know exactly what kind of adapter I need, and where I might find one? Information gathered says that the specs are:

    19V DC, 4.74A, 90W; Input- 100~240V AC, 50/60Hz Universal

But after scouring newegg and not being able to find one with a jack that looked quite the way mine looks, I really need some help with this one.

    Thanks a ton!

Contact either of several reputable resellers around here (GenTechpc.com or BTOTech.com), they should be able to provide the ac brick you need.

The Targus APM12US air/auto/AC adapter works with the G1s. You need to get tip #16 which is not included with the adapter. As far as I can tell, no one stocks this tip. However, Targus does have them and you can order from the web. I paid $16 for this tip with next day shipping.

This is a nice adapter since it also works on planes and in cars.
