So I downloaded the 169.04 drivers from laptopvideo2go,extracted, and put the modded inf in the folder. Running the setup gives me an errorfree installation except at the end, it says no modifications have been made to your system. What's wrong?
I have previously uninstalled the past stock driver. Trying to install it using the Windows Installer and the Have Disk method yields an error at the end that says a file was not found. It doesn't give the name of that file.

Maybe you need to run things in Admin mode, Vista might refuse the setup program access to the system files.
