    HI

    Is there anyway to disable the sound that the G1 makes when you turn on the laptop? It comes up when the screen says G1, gaming series. Also, can you disable the OS startup sound as well?

    press f2 to enter bios whne posting. in bios disable the sound

    to disable the startup sound in XP: Start>Control Panel>Sounds and Audio Devices>Sounds (2nd tab)> scroll down to "Start Windows" unselect the specified sound
