Hello, I am noticing that my notebook for some odd reason becomes REALLY slow when I am watching a video online. Whether this be on youtube, megavideo, anime sites, espn, etc, the CPU usage JUMPS to 20%, and becomes very very laggy, almost to the point of not being able to scroll down pages without having to wait for a 5 second delay!

How can I find the cause of this? Thanks.

How much memory do you have? And what browser are you using?

8GB 1333 kingston. Memory usage never changes, usually around 15-25%.

Using firefox. Had same issue with IE, and Opera.

Try streaming something you can also download. Still do it when downloaded? (Chances are no). How are your DL speeds? Do any speed tests?

Hope you get it figured out.

It could also be a flash problem. Do you have the latest version of flash installed?
