    Hi all,

I had seen this somewhere on the forum but haven't been able to find it with the search function.

Someone referrenced a "foam" mat or cloth of some sort that can be purchased for ~$15 tobe placed on the keyboard to protect the screen when the laptop is closed and not in use. I know my brother had something like that come with his Mac... if anyone knows what these are called or where I can find them, I'd appreciate it. Again, I'm sorry if this is a duplicate post, but I haven't been able to find the thread that discusses this.

    Thanks in advance

Thanks for the info Scarf. Does anyone know if there's an advantage of a microfiber cloth vs. the pseudo-suede cloth vs. whatever else is out there?

    Thank you!

Heh, I think that as long as it's there, it'll do the job. I doubt PCMag will do a "Battle of the keyboard-protector-cloths" special feature ;)

ShaggyMac it is. I have one and it's great. Can't live without it now. Keeps the dust off and protects the screen. What more could you ask for?

Pretty inexpensive too considering the price of things these days. I got mine for about 20 dollars canadian, shipped.

    Cheers,
    Mike

Thanks for the info guys! Based on appearance and your comments I think I'm gonna go for the shaggymac. I like that it covers the entire keyboard surface as well, and it's only $15 USD :)

[Edit: Ordered it today, Thanks again!]
