    Simple question : i've finally gotten some time to perform this :

    I've gotten a replacement keyboard but i cna't figure out how i remove the FPC on the old keyboard to this white/black module thing (no idea what it's called) Do i pull it straight ? or clamp it up ? IN the screenshots on the disassembly guides, i see "tweezers" so i'm afriad to pull it out hard!


    Figured to post here because it's an Asus model,

    do you mean the ribbon holding the keyboard on? if so all you do is on the edges where the ribbon connects to the pc. stick your nail in and pry it forward alittle and then do it to the other side. then pull the ribbon out.

    So the module that the "ribbon" thing is connected to (which is therefore the FPC connector i believe) i do absolutely nothing ? It kinda has not latches nothing ??
