    I know that F8Sn has just 1 mini-pci slot.(but F8Sv has "2")
But I want to install another mini-pci card.(robson or tv-tuner)

Does anyone know about the 'minicard board'?(plz find attached)
    Where can I purchase that?

I requested ASUS, excaliberpc, zipzoomfly, 1toppc, btotech, compuvest, bestbuy to send information, but their answers are all same.
--> "we have no idea."

Why don't you use the Express Card slot ? I think they make TV tuners for it.

Or are you saying you are using the Card slot & you want another one ?

First of all, that's a Mini PCI-E card. It's long and skinny as opposed to mini PCI which used to be wider. Older Centrinos used to use mini PCI for WiFi (2100, 2915), but they ditched it when Intel went from Pentium M to Core (3945, and the new 4965).

Second of all, there aren't a whole lot of internal mini PCI-E cards you can buy to start with, since most laptops have only one and they're intended for the WiFi. The second slot idea was introduced with Santa Rosa and was intended for Robinson cache card on Vista, which has proven to be not worth the while for most companies since the gains are not always apparent.

Third of all, ExpressCard is not the same as the internal. It is true that both are essentially a PCI-E 1x slot, but the form factor is different.

If you want expansion, you'll be either using ExpressCard or USB. I wouldn't bother with the internal slot or even trying to get one. This ain't a desktop. ;)

the 2nd pci-e slot is unusable. asus did not include sockett for it. it has one slot only.

my answer would not be all the same. if you asked me i would answer, i am pretty sure the same goes for ken. Both of us know the answer. the others may not. estore does not have this part. asus did not include it because they gave up on the intel turbo memory. they did not integrate a tv tuner cable so there was no need for a second port.
