this is purely a superficial question ;)

I saw a few sites selling the F6ve-C1 with images of it in white chassis while doing a google product search. I know the F6ve-B1 only comes in black, but the F6ve is sold in asia with a lower end processor in both black and white chassis, and the asus company website also shows F6ve-V1 in both colors.
At the same time though, none of the US sites carry both the black and white version. Which makes me wonder if the images showing the white chassis had been mistakes. does anyone know anything about this?

on a somewhat unrelated note, i have read a few complains about the chassis quality of the F6ve, is it really that bad?

Asus NA probably imported only the black model again into the US market -- US customers don't buy white notebooks that aren't made by Apple, and they haven't for years. Sites that post the white version would be using the wrong pic from Asus' promotional materials - wouldn't be the first time that mistake has happened.

As to the latter, check out the EBE's F6 thread in the owner's lounge.
