    Is there a docking station for the F6Ve??

    No, there isn't. Asus had the dock for their V series notebooks, and there has been some speculation (without confirmation, to my knowledge) that they might make this an option with their new business line.

    Asus has never made a dock for their budget/mainstream lines in the past 3 years.

    is there any third party docking station that would allow me to conect only a single port when docking the F6Ve?

    You just need manually connect it to the ExpressCard slot, yes all the rest gets handle by docking station.

    You mean using docking statoin to power up your laptop instead of using the laptop AC adapter? no it cant', non of the third-party docking station can replace the original AC adapter.

    so it´s 2 cables to connect, the xpress card and PSU... much better with my dell X300 and it´s docking, just sit the notebook over it and it´s done

    That's what you get with 3rd party solutions, but they get the job done when necessary :) -- the V series business line's docking stations worked just like your current one... drop and lever to lock.

    Sorry Ken, I wasn't thinking about aftermarket dock solutions :eek:.

    I don't have any problems with my U6V, all I use it for is the external monitor and as a USB hub, work 100% of the time for me.

    I do know the older model I think it was ACP50US has driver problem that sometimes the computer won't recognize the docking station.
